A spider rode around town on my windshield today. He seemed happy enough to be there, so I let him stay. Here is an accurate artist’s rendition.
His name is Burberry.
(I will post legitimate art someday.)
“And toward this house went a woman; when she raised her hands and opened the door before her, brightness gleamed from her hands, both over sky and sea, and all the worlds were illumined of her.”
Gylfaginning, 37.
Pen and ink with digital color.
“O’er Midgard Huginn and Muninn both
Each day set forth to fly;
For Huginn I fear lest he come not home,
But for Muninn my care is more.”
-Odin, Grímnismál

For RAW Artists Austin’s RADIATE show, which Umber and I will be featured in in August. So tired of font! And kerning! I could still do more kerning if left to my own devices for too much longer.
The image is of Sif, the wife of Thor, who’s golden wheat colored hair turned coal black after Loki cut it off.
